Buddha Loka
Changes are coming. After teacher training, all post-YDCers
who are staying on in the summer, will be moved. Until now we have been in more luxurious housing, but we are guests no more. Of
course we are not told where we will be moving to. "We don't tell you yet,
so you don't have to worry about it yet..."
So I think about the
different options: To Radha House, centrally located, close to a yoga room,
with roommates of an average age of 60. To Siva Hall, with a cosy atmosphere & internet access, but with low ceilings and cardboard walls. Or to Buddha Loka, which is so far away (a 7 minute walk) that I
have never even been there. Close to the lake and the temple, but too far away
to quickly run home to get an extra sweater.

Finally I am released from
all my moving thoughts. Buddha Loka it is. Meg and I will join Tamara,
Guenevere, Nancy, Sylvia, and an ever changing crew of short time karma yogi's in the
house at the lake. I live in Field 9 and I love it. My room is about 8m2 and
reminds me of my rooms in Amsterdam & Brighton. From here I can walk up to
the Barn in the morning, which has my favorite yoga room. But the best is the
Lake. Walking down over the rocks I discover a beautiful beach. The sun is
shining and I take a quick dip in, to cherish the sun afterwards. I like
my new backyard.
