Time to Live

What would you do if you only had 6 months left to live? (write)
What would you do if you only had 1 month left to live? (write)
What would you do if you only had 1 week left to live? (write)
What would you do if you only had 1 day left to live? (write)
What would you do if you only had 1 hour left to live? (write)

- "Your last hour has come. Now go and live it." -

I go to the beach and chant to the earth and ether.  I am overwhelmed by gratitude.

When the sun starts to shine, my hour has come to an end. So I walk into the lake as I had written I would.

It is still freezing. Just when I decide not to swim, I trip and fall. Lying naked in the freezing water I feel ready to die. No regrets, no pain, just peace.
(and an overwhelming chill)

Still my waking mind urges me out of the water.
It is not my time yet.

Time to Live.
