| From earth to heaven... |
Sylvia Hellman was a professional dancer before she became Swami Radha. Some of the Indian dances she learned in Rishikesh, urged by her Guru, Swami Sivananda, are still danced here at the ashram. Swami Radha wanted the dances to be like a folk tradition, that strengthens the community. And indeed, from time to time, we all gather in a circle to dance.

The Ashram dance we are currently learning unites different movements that Swami Radha learned in India and brought together. There is something wonderful in joining a large circle dance, including the occasional bumping into one another.
